Overview

As a result of the deterioration of the health situation, an epidemic of dengue fever has spread in many governorates, resulting in dozens of deaths and thousands of injuries, according to the statistics recorded in the years 2015-2016. With generous funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to limit the spread of dengue fever in Yemen and secure the necessary means to eradicate it with an amount of $2 million through a package of preventive, educational, training and statistical activities, in addition to media, administrative and procurement activities to strengthen the control infrastructure. The project targeted 45 districts in six governorates inhabited by 10,327,797 citizens.
